Painting a retention wall, US Coast Guard Photo
Summary
ISKRA, Bulgaria - Chief Petty Officer Barry Insley, of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Dallas, pours a cup of paint to paint a retention wall at the Saint Ekaterina Orphanage Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. Twenty-two people from the Dallas took a 45-minute bus ride from where the cutter is moored in Burgas, Bulgaria, to the orphanage, which houses 51 people with mental disabilities ranging in age from three to 25 years old. The Dallas crew painted the wall at the entrance to the orphanage, cleaned the grounds around one of the play areas, and played games with the children during their visit.
