Summary

The Palau Global Health Engagement Team perform operative dentistry on a Palauan at Belau National Hospital in Koror during U.S. Army Pacific’s Palau Dental Humanitarian Mission on Sept. 29, 2018. The three-person dental team from Regional Health Command- Pacific worked closely with local dentists, hygienists and assistants to provide dental services including hygiene, operative dentistry, pediatrics, oral surgery, endodontics and temporomandibular disorder management. Coordinated and funded by the Republic of Palau, this was the first dental mission to Palau in four years. The humanitarian mission enhances operational and deployment readiness skill sets for the dental team. (U.S. Army photo)
