Palm Avenue toward Tower of Jewels
Summary
Palm Avenue, shown in this historic colored postcard, was the main thoroughfare between the great South Gardens and the group of main exhibit palaces. Beautiful California palms lined either side of the avenue. On the right is the entrance to the Palace of Varied Industries, following which are two 200' tall Italian towers, each on either side of the entrance to the Court of Flowers.
