Paratroopers with 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade run through a situational training exercise designed to test and train their reaction to contact and tactical battle drills during Exercise Mountain Shock in Cerklje, Slovenia, Dec. 1, 2016. Exercise Mountain Shock is an emergency deployment response exercise with Slovenian Armed Forces, which demonstrates the squadron’s ability to assemble and respond rapidly where needed. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands' areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
