Persia by Albert Herter. This was one of 7 murals done for the Hotel St. Francis in 1913. This mural was featured on the cover of the Hotel St. Francis menus for many years. The murals have been in storage since 1971; the hotel remodeled, doing away with the Mural Room in favor or more space for the main lobby.
