Summary: Archibald Trailor died intestate leaving four lots in Springfield, Illinois, and forty acres of land in Sangamon County, Illinois. Blankenship and Jesse Trailor, the administrators of Archibald Trailor's estate, retained Logan and Lincoln and sued Archibald Trailor's heirs in order to sell the land to pay the debts of the estate. The court approved the sale, and Myer purchased the land for $1,630.
