Petty Officer Third Class Arlon Rivers, a corpsman with Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a Chino Hills, California native, recites corpsman history in recognition of the 116th anniversary of the inception of the naval hospital corps aboard the USS Comstock during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 17. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5.
