Preparing for exercise 3rd MLG Marines, sailors depart

The Westpac Express High Speed Vessel is loaded with equipment at the Naha Military Port prior to the departure for the Kingdom of Thailand Jan. 18. Marines, sailors and equipment being transported will support the 30th iteration of Exercise Cobra Gold, an annual Thai/U.S. co-sponsored joint and multinational exercise. Participating nations include Thailand, the U.S., Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia.
