PRT engineers assess road project

U.S. Air Force Capt. Sigan Wilson (center), from Honolulu, and Master Sgt. Abner Ramos, a Fairfield, Calif., native, both Kapisa Provincial Reconstruction Team civil engineers, conducted a construction quality assurance mission of the 13-kilometer Dara Puta Road project, which connects several villages in the Nejrab District of Kapisa. They discussed the ongoing status of the road, construction deficiencies and the contractor's plans for the next phase of cutting and widening the road.
