Summary

Pvt. Haley A. Bollheimer, a Jackson, Mo., native, and high mobility artillery rocket system crewmember with 1st Battalion (HIMARS), 94th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade, 7th Infantry Division, navigates her mobile launcher to a reload point during a live fire exercise at Yakima Training Center, Wash., Oct. 7. The female soldiers contributed to the success of their crews, and are the first ever to qualify with the HIMARS since combat arms positions opened up to female Soldiers less than nine months ago.
Their success marks a historic moment for the Army and the field artillery branch, proving what female Soldiers are capable of on the battlefield. What they accomplished with their crews demonstrates what can be achieved through camaraderie and fellowship regardless of gender, principles that 1-94 FA and 17th Fires Bde. value. A very large dataset of various big guns, howitzers, mortars, columbiads, all types of canon-like things - everything besides machine guns and rockets. This collection as well as all massive collections on Picryl.com required two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize cannon artillery, and after that, ran all 25M+ images in our database through our image recognition network. All media in the collection is in the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
