Pygmy rabbit tracks on Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge (25467781028)
Summary
Pygmy rabbit droppings on Seedskadee National Wildlife. They are described as the size of a BB and round. Surveying after a fresh snow is one of the best ways to detect pygmy rabbits. Their tracks and droppings lead you to their burrows, where they spend much of the day. Pygmy rabbits can be found in certain locations/habitats (taller sagebrush with deeper soils) on and near Seedskadee NWR, but may be hard to observe. They spend much of the day in burrows they have dug or hiding under the branches of sagebrush and other shrubs.
