Nearly 500 medical and support staff from Navy Medicine West are deployed aboard Mercy supporting Pacific Partnership 2012. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic action exercise designed to work with and through host nations to build partnerships and a collective ability to respond to natural disasters.
