GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Sep. 28, 2012) Rear Adm. Clifford S. Sharpe inspects a recruit drill platoon during the weekly pass in review graduation in the USS Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command (RTC). Sharpe was the reviewing officer during the graduation of 1,001 new Sailors. Sharpe is a former commander of Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) and returned to the command and RTC to be the reviewing officer before retiring from the Navy after 30 years of service.
