Recruits of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, are briefed before a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 5. At the start of the session, instructors demonstrate the technique the recruits will execute. Annually, more than 17,000 male recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
