WASHINGTON (Jun. 26, 2011) Rick Holifield helps his daughters with arts and crafts during the 3rd annual Girls Make History Day sponsored by the National Museum of the United States Navy. More than 800 children attended this years' Girls Make History Day. The event was based on the popular American Girl product line and encouraged the children to explore U.S. Naval history and heritage through the stories of American Girl characters that lived during significant periods in U.S. History.
