Theiradvancement extends to several particu-lars, including well-marked ethnic char-acteristics, such as personal form, fea-ture, and color. We shall conclude ourexcursion, brief as it is, among the Af-rican nations by referring in detail to vision of the Bantu family of nations.The chief countries in which these peo-ples arc found are Kaffraria, Zululand,and Natal. Here they have developedinto a race character and measure ofactivity which have surprised the Euro-peans in their impact on the coasts ofSouthern Africa.
