ROTA, Spain (May 20, 2019) 190520-M-QT322-0023 – U.S. Marine GySgt Matthew Harrington, a company gunnery sergeant with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) instructs U.S. and Spanish Marines about simulation training rifles before close-quarters battle and military operations in urban terrain simulation training at Rota, Spain. The 22nd MEU and the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are making a scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations, crisis response and theater security cooperation, while also providing a forward Naval and Marine presence.
