Royal Thai Marine Corps Sgt. Pairoj Prasarnsai demonstrates to U.S. Marines the proper technique to handle a cobra during a jungle survival class part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 16 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand. The Thai and U.S. Marines conducted the survival training to maintain readiness and increase interoperability between the participating military forces. This year marks the 180th year of the strong Thai-U.S. relationship and demonstrates both nations’ commitment to maintaining and developing prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region. Prasarnsai is a combat parachutist, diver and jungle survival expert and with the Reconnaissance Battalion, Royal Thai Marines.
