Sailors aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Thach

Sailors aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Thach (FFG 43) render honors to USS Boone (FFG 28) while arriving in Panama City, Panama. The sailors will participate in multinational events including a community relations project, a Project Handclasp delivery and training demonstrations as part of PANAMAX 2011. The exercise is focused on the defense of the Panama Canal, with participants from 17 countries and involving more than 3,500 personnel throughout the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
