INDIAN OCEAN (Sep. 28, 2007) Sailors from South African frigate SAS Amatola (F145) observe operations on the bridge of guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) during a joint exercise off the coast of South Africa. During the exercise, Sailors from Forrest Sherman and Amatola participated in a crew swap. Forrest Sherman is deployed to Southeast Africa as a member of the newly established Southeast Africa Task Group to promote maritime security and safety in the region.
