PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 14, 2018) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Ibrahim Kaba, from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, signals the pilot of an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 14 from the aft missile deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200). Spruance is underway and conducting operations in international waters as part of a dual carrier strike force exercise.
