NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 22, 2008) Sailors from Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) volunteer at its "adopted" school, Newsome Park Elementary. Sailors volunteer at the school under the Adopt-a-School program, playing a role in the students' education through mentoring, teaching and reading, as well as cleaning up the school.
