Salem Whalen, the instructor for the belly dancing

Salem Whalen, the instructor for the belly dancing class held at the Fort Bliss Army Community Service center, leads her students in a series of stretches and bending exercises prior to practicing the middle eastern style dance moves, March 22. Whalen, a military spouse residing at Fort Bliss, teaches the dance classes as a way to offer other Army wives an innovative way to exercise and condition their bodies while having fun and bonding with one another.
