Summary

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Dakota Hanson, right, a recon specialist with the Warfighter Disaster Response Team, and Mylee Cardenas, the organization’s founder, move pallets containing thousands of pounds of food donated by New Zealand for distribution across Puerto Rico, Nov. 18, 2017. Once the food is staged, members of the Warfighters, working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will distribute it to families still in need following the destruction of Hurricane Maria. The Warfighters have been supporting the recovery and relief efforts on Puerto Rico, and have distributed over 128,000 meals and 120 pallets of water since they arrived on ground.
