SASEBO, Japan (Dec. 7, 2020) – The Sasebo area Chiefs’ mess and Petty Officer 1st Classes selected for promotion conduct morning colors during a 79th Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day commemoration onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo Dec. 7, 2020. The selectees conducted colors and hoisted the national ensign to half-staff during a remembrance ceremony honoring the 2,390 lives lost during the attack on Dec. 7, 1941.
