Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5's

Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5's Construction Civic Action Detail Philippines play basketball with local children and teachers at Barangay Tagburos High school. After the game, the Seabees donated a basketball, volleyball and a pair of badminton racquets as a token of friendship to the Barangay Tagburos High School. CCAD Philippines is currently constructing a two-classroom masonry building for the Aplaya Elementary School. Seabees conduct CCAD operations like this one in order to demonstrate U.S. commitment, develop enduring relationships, improve public infrastructure for the delivery of essential services, and strengthen local institutions with host and partner nations around the world.
