Seaman Ramon Alvarez gives supporting fire on a range course June 2 at Story Live Fire Range Complex, Republic of Korea, during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-19. The sailor is firing an M16A4 service rifle. The M16A4 is a lightweight, air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired weapon, designed for either semi-automatic or three-round burst fire. This exercise allows the battalion to maintain readiness and build the mutual strength and friendship between the ROK Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps.
