HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (Oct. 27, 2012) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) the Honorable Ray Mabus is given an aerial tour of Southern Afghanistan by U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. Charles M. Gurganus, commanding general of I MEF in Afghanistan. Mabus met with senior leaders, Sailors and Marines to discuss security in the region and to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
