SAN DIEGO (Aug. 26, 2014) Senior Chief Career Counselor Mike Hill, mentor at the San Diego Chief Petty Officer Legacy Academy, speaks with chief selects about the importance and significance of national cemeteries during a tour of Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Chief petty officer selectees live aboard the USS Midway Museum during the six-day academy course and participate in preservation activities, leadership training, community service projects and learn lessons about the history and heritage of the U.S. Navy and chief petty officer community.
