Tourist Attraction - Shoreline at Asan Point
Summary
Asan Beach Unit - Asan and Agat Invasion Beaches, War in the Pacific National Historical Park. The point is located at the western side of Asan Beach. In 1922, prior to World War II, the U.S. Marines established a quartermaster depot at this site that included a small practice range and barracks. The U.S. Navy also used the outer edge of Asan Point to quarry limestone.
