Sierra Nevada red fox 1 (cropped)

Photo taken September 6, 2010 at 9:40 p.m. of a Sierra Nevada red fox near brush and rocks at night on the Stanislaus National Forest. A marker to identify the exact location of the camera set is visible on down log to the left of the fox. Although a Sierra Nevada red fox, this individual is a cross phase exhibiting both red and gray in the coat color.
