Soldier rewarded for professional development while deployed

U.S. Army Pfc. Anthony Germain checks his truck for deficiencies, Dec. 20. Germain was selected as December’s Emissary of the Month in support of Operation Enduring Freedom by the senior enlisted members of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team at Camp Nathan Smith. Germain was chosen for his leadership, volunteerism, and completion of Army Structured Self Development Level One modules during a platoon competition. Hailing Fort Bliss, Texas, and assigned to C Company, 4-17 Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Armor Division, Germain is currently deployed as a member of KPRT’s Security Force.
