Summary
Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment; 250th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team; and 466th Medical Company, Area Support, receive instructional training on cricothyrotomy familiarization at the Role 2 compound at Al Asad Air Base, Oct. 30, 2020. Cricothyrotomy is an incision made through the skin and cricothyroid membrane to establish a patent airway during certain life-threatening situations, such as airway obstruction by a foreign body, angioedema, or massive facial trauma.
