Soldiers from the 111th Quartermaster Company at Fort
Summary
Soldiers from the 111th Quartermaster Company at Fort Lee, Va., sing the Army Song during a redeployment ceremony for one of the units in their battalion, the 612th Movement Control Detachment, that had just returned from a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan. Both units are assigned to the 530th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, a U.S. Army Forces Command asset. While in Afghanistan, the 612th operated a transportation hub at Kandahar Airfield where they tracked cargo shipments and ensured Afghan drivers were properly escorted during convoys.
