Summary

Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Presidential Salute Battery conduct a blank fire crew drill next to Section 37 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, August 7, 2018. The platoon fires cannon salutes in honor of the President of the United States, visiting foreign dignitaries, and official guests of the United States. Its primary mission is to render honors at military ceremonies including funerals at ANC. The platoon is equipped with ten M5, 75mm antitank cannons mounted on the M6 howitzer carriage.
