Soldiers with the Iowa Army National Guard's 135th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment watch an introductory training video Jan. 5 at the Ignit Sport fitness center in Grimes, Iowa, on proper techniques for the upcoming release of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). The ACFT is scheduled to replace the current Army Physical Fitness Test of pushups, sit-ups and a 2-mile run. The ACFT will have six events, including: strength deadlift; standing power throw; hand release pushups; sprint, drag, carry; leg tuck; and 2-mile run.
