Soldiers with the Kentucky Army National Guard participate
Summary
Soldiers with the Kentucky Army National Guard participate in Humvee Egress Assistance Training on March 10, 2008, at Fort McCoy, Wis. About 500 Kentucky Guard Soldiers went through the training as a segment of their pre-deployment mobilization training. Humvee Egress Assistance Training is still available on post. The Humvee is mounted on an axle-like apparatus that allows instructors to rapidly turn over the vehicle sideways in a 360-degree pattern, degree by degree, fast enough to simulate what an improvised explosive device might do or the results of a rollover into a ditch.
