Summary

Cmdr. Joe V. Overstreet, originally from Hattiesburg, Miss., and who currently serves as Navy Region Hawaii Air Operations program manager, shares a moment of silence with his family on behalf of his missing father, Lt. Cmdr. James Overstreet, April 15, 2014. Overstreet laid a wreath out to sea during a remembrance ceremony in honor of the service members -including his father - who perished aboard EC-121 "Deep Sea 129," which was shot down by North Korean aircraft, April 15, 1969. This was the first time the son of Overstreet attended the EC-121 ceremony, which was commemorating the 45th anniversary of the incident.
