STAFF SGT. Fred Caddel a C-5 flight engineer assigned to the 3rd Airlift Squadron, 436th Airlift Wing, Dover Air Force Base, Del. inspects the arrangement of tie-down chains to secure the cargo in cargo bay of his C-5 Galaxy at Cheddi Jagan International Airport. The equipment being returned to the states was used by participants in New Horizon '97, first combined humanitarian and civic assistance exercise conducted between the United States and Guyana. Military personnel from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve & National Guard, Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps participated in the exercise which included engineering and medical readiness training
