Staff Sgt. Joseph D’Ambrosio, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing Aviation Logistics Department, Marine Forces Reserve, cleans up supplies used to plant dozens of new trees here April 18. Marines from MARFORRES volunteered at the event for Hike for KaTREEna, a non-profit organization dedicated to replacing trees lost after Hurricane Katrina. The event was part of NOLA Navy week, in which New Orleans served as the inaugural city in a three-year national celebration commemorating the War of 1812 and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
