Staff Sgt. Logan Pals, 435th Construction Training

Staff Sgt. Logan Pals, 435th Construction Training Squadron military construction flight pavement and equipment operator, digs a trench Sept. 22, 2015, in preparation for personnel recovery operations at Diyarbakir Air Base, Turkey. The 435th CTS falls under the 435th Contingency Response Group at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The group provides a cross-functional, rapidly deployable airborne force designed to assess and open air bases and perform initial airfield operations enabling rapid standup of combat operations anywhere in the European Command and African Command’s area of responsibilities.
