Staff Sgt. Mirali, an Afghan instructor at the Joint

Staff Sgt. Mirali, an Afghan instructor at the Joint Sustainment Academy Southwest and native of Daykundi, Afghanistan, overcame many hardships, from the Soviet invasion to undergoing Taliban rule. Now, serving with in the Afghan National Army, Mirali uses his experiences and knowledge to teach fellow Afghans in the Small Arms Weapons Instructor Course on Camp Leatherneck.
