Staff Sgt. Thomas Vesser, 351st Air Refueling Squadron In-flight Refueling Systems craftsman, provides in-flight mission support during a refueling flight Feb. 22, 2013, over Scotland. Aside from controlling the refueling boom on the back of the KC-135 Stratotanker during the refueling portion of the mission, Vesser works with the pilot and copilot to analyze flight data and complete in-flight checklists essential to a safe and successful flight.
