Stereo card West Lyn Devon 1860s

1860s stereoview picture which has the original label on the back: "View on West Lyn, Lynton N.D. Photographed and published by W. Palmer, Lynton". This is near Lynton in Devon, England. The photographer ran the family firm William Eastman Palmer & Sons in the Plymouth area in the 1860s and 1870s.

Also it might be inadvisable to attempt to adjust contrast and brightness as the dark areas of the photograph have darkened with age, and the light areas have faded. Therefore any attempt to improve contrast or brightness would cause loss of detail in the light or dark areas.
