Street scene, Lurgan. Northern Ireland

To the O'Connor collection today and a very interesting shot of Lurgan, Co. Armagh. A reasonably busy street scene with a pub, an hotel, pedestrians, police and a well loaded horse and cart on display. ..We thought the posters outside the hotel might be of some assistance in discovering the date. And indeed today's contributors were able to use the recruitment posters (outside what we learned was the local RIC station) to identify a possible upper date of around 1914. And, with the help of the census records for the business owners pictured, identified a possible lower date of around 1911.
