Atlantic Ocean (May. 08, 2005) Stretcher bearers assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Trenton (LPD 14), carry an 83-year old civilian, to an MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter assigned to the Vanguards of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron One Four (HM-14) for a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). The Trenton and embarked Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Six (HSC-26) performed a dangerous night search and rescue (SAR) mission, rescuing the civilian from a 41-foot sailboat caught in heavy seas.
