Description: Photographic documentation of Commander James Wetherbee testing the Portable In-flight Landing Operations Trainer (PILOT) at the Space Shuttle Discovery's command station during STS-63. The purpose of the testing was to verify that the PILOT simulator helps the shuttle commander and pilot maintaint he highest possible level of proficiency for the end-of-mission approach and landing task on Extended Duration Operations.
