Description: STS-94 mission commander James Halsell holds up a Sample Processing Unit (SPU) which will be used in the Coarsening of Solid-Liquid Mixtures (CLSM) experiment in the Middeck Glovebox (MGBX) (018-20). Halsell inserts the SPU into the MGBX, which is located in Rack 12 of the Microgravity Science Laboratory (MSL-1) Spacelab module (21-4). View 020 was selected by the crew to be included in their postflight presentation.
