Student pose for pictures while waiting to receive stuffed animals from the Brigada de Infanteria de Marina (BIM) Marines at the Escuela Oficial Los Mixta #1 Mariano Galvez, Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, July 31, 2014. Members of the Guatemalan BIM visited the school as part of a community relations project in order to break negative associations from military actions conducted in the past. The U.S. Marine Civil Affairs (CA) team for Southern Partnership Station 2014 was invited to observe the BIM's civil military operations capabilities.
