Surgeon Maj. Kelly Blair, (Left) and assistant, Spc. Jonas Carlo Vitocruz (right), 250th Forward Surgical Team, work together during a procedure as part of a training exercise on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Sept. 21. During the field training exercise the 102nd FST and 250th FST, with support from Madigan Health Care System and the 56th Multifunctional Medical Battalion were able to perform seven live surgical procedures using methods they would be required to use during a deployment.
